9U Wins LIHS Eastern Division Fall League (10/26/25)

George D struck out 14 batters as the starter led 9U Sharks Baseball Academy past Smithtown Bulls Blue 9U 12-3 on Sunday. George surrendered one hit and three runs over five innings while walking two.

9U Sharks Baseball Academy won thanks in part to eight runs in the third inning. Jay K singled, scoring one run, Antonino V tripled, scoring one run, John B drew a walk, scoring one run, Anthony C singled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, and Tyler L grounded out, scoring two runs.

9U Sharks Baseball Academy jumped back into the lead in the bottom of the second inning after Shane G grounded out, and Nate P singled to center field, each scoring one run.

Two more 9U Sharks Baseball Academy runs crossed the plate in the fifth inning to extend the lead to 12-3. John hit a solo inside the park home run, and Shane grounded out, scoring one run.

Anthony went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead 9U Sharks Baseball Academy in hits. John, Anthony, Tyler, Jay, Antonino, Shane, and Nate each drove in one run for 9U Sharks Baseball Academy. John, Anthony, George, Shane, and Bryson M each stole multiple bases for 9U Sharks Baseball Academy. 9U Sharks Baseball Academy worked the count all day, amassing six walks. 9U Sharks Baseball Academy ran wild on the base paths, piling up 16 stolen bases for the game. 9U Sharks Baseball Academy were sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Anthony had the most chances in the field with 17.
