Future Sharks (Ages 4 to 6)

The Perfect First Step Into Baseball

Long Island youth baseball program ages 4-6 – Future Sharks is our introductory program for young players ages 4–6. Designed to build excitement and confidence, this program teaches the basics in a fun, supportive environment. Kids learn to love the game while developing coordination, teamwork, and fundamental baseball skills. Open registration to anyone see link below. Enrollment limited.

Program Details

  • Who: Boys & girls ages 4–6, no experience needed

  • When: Saturday mornings, Spring (April–June) & Fall (Sept–Oct)

  • Where: 2438 Marcus Ave, New Hyde Park, NY

  • Format: 90-minute sessions focused on fun drills, games, and simple fundamentals

  • Cost: $50 per season (includes program & uniform) $50 Raffle fundraiser participation required

What Kids Learn

  • How to throw, catch, and hit with beginner-friendly instruction

  • Running bases & learning the rules through fun games

  • Teamwork, sportsmanship, and listening skills

  • Most importantly: how to have fun on the field!

Parent Friendly

  • Small groups with lots of reps

  • Positive coaching and encouragement.

  • Great introduction before Little League or Sharks Baseball Academy (ages 6–10)

  • Simple gear needed (glove, bat, helmet, cleats or sneakers.

  • Season

    Fall (September thru October)
