Powerful Pitching Performance From Marcus T Carries 8U Sharks Baseball Academy Past L.I. Wolves 8U

Marcus T was dominant on the mound, as the right-handed pitcher rang up 14 strikeouts in 8U Sharks Baseball Academy’s 7-2 victory over L.I. Wolves 8U on Sunday. Marcus surrendered three hits and two runs over five innings while walking one.

8U Sharks Baseball Academy flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the fourth, scoring seven runs on five hits to take the lead, 7-2. The biggest blow in the inning was a triple by Jay K that drove in three.

Antonino V pitched one inning of shutout ball for 8U Sharks Baseball Academy in relief. The hurler surrendered zero hits, striking out two and walking one.

Jay went 1-for-1 at the plate and led the team with three runs batted in. Dennis F led 8U Sharks Baseball Academy with two hits in three at bats. 8U Sharks Baseball Academy had patience at the plate, collecting nine walks for the game. Jaxon S, Matthew P, and Marcus led the team with two bases on balls each. Marcus stole two bases. 8U Sharks Baseball Academy didn’t commit a single error in the field. Anthony C had the most chances in the field with 14.
