9U Wins LIHS Union Division Fall League (10/26/25)

Marcus T drove in seven runs on four hits to lead 9U Sharks Baseball Academy past Williston Park Patriots 9U 24-2 on Sunday. Marcus tripled in the third scoring three, singled in the second scoring two, tripled in the first scoring one, and tripled in the third scoring one.

9U Sharks Baseball Academy scored 13 runs in the third inning on the way to victory.  Antonino V drew a walk, scoring one run, Marcus tripled, scoring one run, John B singled, scoring one run, George D singled, scoring one run, Nate P drew a walk, scoring one run, John E drew a walk, scoring one run, Dennis F singled, scoring one run, Antonino singled, scoring one run, Marcus tripled, scoring three runs, and John hit an inside the park home run, scoring two runs.

9U Sharks Baseball Academy tied the game in the bottom of the first thanks to a triple by Marcus, and a ground out by John.

9U Sharks Baseball Academy flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the second, scoring nine runs on seven hits to take the lead, 11-2. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Antonino that drove in two.

Dennis earned the win for 9U Sharks Baseball Academy. The southpaw gave up three hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out eight and walking one.

9U Sharks Baseball Academy tallied 17 hits in the game. John, Tyler L, Dennis, and Antonino each collected multiple hits for 9U Sharks Baseball Academy. 9U Sharks Baseball Academy had patience at the plate, tallying nine walks for the game. George and Nate led the team with two bases on balls each. Anthony C, Tyler, George, Dennis, and Nate each stole multiple bases for 9U Sharks Baseball Academy. 9U Sharks Baseball Academy stole 20 bases in the game.
