⚾ Youth Baseball Tryouts Long Island: Join Sharks Academy

 

At Sharks Baseball Academy, we evaluate players through a structured, age-appropriate process that emphasizes skill development, baseball IQ, and overall team fit.

Our goal is to help every player reach their full potential while ensuring that each family understands how our program works and what we value—effort, attitude, and a willingness to learn.

Tryouts include evaluations of fielding, hitting, throwing, base running, and coachability. We welcome individual players as well as full or partial teams interested in joining the Sharks program.

📝 Registration

All players register online prior to attending a tryout, there is no fee.
Registration ensures accurate player info, age verification, and communication for scheduling or weather updates.

🕒 Check-In

Arrive 15 minutes early for warm-up and check-in.
Players receive a numbered evaluation to help coaches track individual performance.
Please bring:

  • Baseball glove and bat

  • Helmet and water bottle

  • Catchers should bring full gear

  • Turf shoes or molded cleats for indoor facilities
